E-mu’s Proteus 1 is an instant nostalgia machine loaded with many recognizable sampled instruments from the Emulator library. The XR means it has extended RAM and can hold up to 256 user presets.
This one is in great shape, working well, and sounding great. The screen still lights up and is easy to read, but does have some blooming - check the last photo.
These were introduced in 1989, but I believe this one was purchased in the 90s.
Comes with a power cable.
