Classic Symetrix 528E Voice Processor all-in-one analog channel strip widely used in broadcast, voiceover, and radio. This single-channel powerhouse packs six vital studio-grade processing tools into a sleek 1U rack-mount frame, giving you complete control over your vocal signal chain before it hits your interface or mixer.
Great, fully-functional working condition. All pots, switches, and processing modules (Preamp, De-esser, Compressor/Limiter, Expander/Gate, and 3-Band Parametric EQ) function as intended. Minor cosmetic wear from normal rack mounting (minor rack rash/scratches on the top/bottom chassis).
Features:
- Mic Preamp: High-headroom preamp with up to 60 dB of gain, switchable +48V phantom power, and a 15 dB pad.
- De-Esser: Dynamic high-frequency control to cleanly eliminate harsh sibilance.
- Compressor/Limiter: Smooth analog compression with adjustable threshold and ratio controls to tighten dynamic range.
- Downward Expander: Keeps the signal path pristine by attenuating background noise and room rumble when you aren't speaking.
- 3-Band Parametric EQ: Highly flexible parametric equalizer with sweepable frequencies, adjustable bandwidth, and cut/boost controls.
- Voice Symmetry Switch: Corrects asymmetrical vocal waveforms to maximize modulation and presence.

- Outputs: Balanced Line (XLR) (selectable Line or Mic level via internal switch, currently set to Line)
- Patch Points: Individual 1/4" insert points for the de-esser, compressor, and EQ sections, allowing incredibly versatile routing or standalone module use.
- Power: standard North American power cable is included. Currently set to 120V operation but 240V is also available via an internal switch. Please note if you plan on using it with European 240V power, swapping out the current fuse for a 0.25 Amp 250V one is recommended.
