Altered payphone handset lofi microphone by Varium.

These handsets are extremely durable and designed to withstand public use. It also has very nice original metal cable which I attached to a jumbo 1/4" plug. Both the mouth and ear microphones are wired in and sent through a single output.

Has a slightly clearer lofi sound than other vintage handset microphones, but still a pleasant amount of breakup and a classic telephone eq character. Sounds great on vocals, guitars, and drums. It can pick up a wider source because both mics are being used.

Plug-in to pedals and DI boxes. Use extreme caution when connecting to amplifiers because it can be a source of feedback at louder levels - I suggest starting at 0 and slowly turning up your amp to a good level while talking into the mic.
